What we collect

Account information

When you create an account we store a username and, where you provide one, an email address and display name. If you sign in using your Ninja Traders account, we receive an account identifier and your membership tier from that service in order to grant the correct course access. We do not receive your Ninja Traders password.

Purchases

When you buy a course we record the order, the course purchased, the amount, and the billing details you enter. Payments are processed by Coinbase Commerce. We do not receive or store your wallet keys or full payment credentials.

Course activity

We record which courses you are enrolled in and your progress through lessons, so the platform can resume where you left off and show completion status.

Video viewing

Course videos are delivered by VdoCipher. To deter unauthorised redistribution, a visible watermark showing your email address, your name and your IP address is overlaid on the video while you watch. VdoCipher also receives technical information needed to deliver the video.

Security and technical data

Our security plugin records IP addresses, login attempts and blocked requests to protect the site from attack. Our hosting and content-delivery providers process IP addresses and request metadata as part of serving the site.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Cookies are used to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and hold your shopping cart between pages. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site will stop working.

Why we use it

We use this information to give you access to the courses you are entitled to, to process and record purchases, to deliver video securely and deter piracy, to keep the platform secure, to send transactional email such as order confirmations and password resets, and to understand and improve how the site is used.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform: Coinbase Commerce (payments), VdoCipher (video delivery and watermarking), Google (analytics), SendGrid (transactional email), Cloudflare (security and content delivery), and DigitalOcean (hosting). We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Account and enrolment records are kept while your account exists, so you retain access to courses you have purchased. Order records are kept for as long as we are required to retain financial records. Security logs are kept for a limited period. Encrypted backups are retained on a rolling schedule and are deleted as they age out.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to [email protected]. Deleting your account ends your access to any courses associated with it. We may need to retain order records where we are required to do so.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date below.
